Comparison
DataFast and Ripples are aimed at the same person and answer the same first question: which traffic turned into paying customers. DataFast got there first and has the larger audience. Three things differ. DataFast integrates Meta Ads and not Google Ads, it reports LTV and ROAS rather than a payback period, and it has no free tier, only a 14-day trial. Pick DataFast if you buy on Meta and want the more established product. Pick Ripples if you buy on Google Ads, or if retention by channel is the number you are missing.

Prices are the published list prices as of August 2026. The last group is the one where DataFast may well beat us, and it is in the same table as the rest on purpose.

The real difference
DataFast reports return on ad spend and lifetime value, which is more than almost any traffic tool does and is genuinely useful. Both numbers are measured from the click.
The number a bootstrapper needs before scaling spend is a different one: how long until this channel has actually returned what it cost, given that some of those customers cancel in month two. A channel with a great day-one ROAS and 60% churn by month three has not paid back anything. That is a retention question wearing a marketing hat, and it needs cohorts split by the channel that brought each customer.
Ripples computes payback per channel from exactly that join, and shows the retention curve underneath it. The other structural difference is simpler: if your spend goes to Google Ads rather than Meta, DataFast has no view of it at all.
Being straight with you
We would rather you found out here than after installing.
DataFast integrates Meta Ads and we do not. If Facebook and Instagram are where your budget goes, that is the whole decision and you should stop reading here.
DataFast has been shipping longer, has far more users, and has a community around it. We are newer and smaller, and pretending otherwise would be silly.
Their AI chat interface is a real feature that people like. Ripples writes you a plain-language weekly brief instead, which is a different bet.
There is a longer list of things Ripples deliberately does not do on what we don't do.
